Frequently Asked Questions
Where are you located?
Printed to order, closer to home
Nearwild is an Australian-owned independent brand, designed in Sydney and printed to order in the USA.
We don’t keep mountains of stock sitting around waiting for a home. Each piece is produced after you order it by one of our US production partners, supporting American printers and production jobs along the way.
That means less unnecessary inventory, fewer long-distance detours, and a shorter trail from printer to doorstep.
It’s a slightly wilder way of doing things: make only what’s needed, produce it closer to the people who ordered it, and leave the long-distance migration to the birds.
Printed to order in the USA, for people who notice the wild nearest them.
Do you ship internationally?
Not just yet.
Right now, Nearwild ships within the United States only. Every order is printed to order through our US production partners and sent directly to you.
We’re keeping things close to home while we grow our little patch of the wild, but we’re very interested in where our visitors are coming from.
If you’re further afield and would like to see Nearwild ship to your corner of the world, send us an email and tell us where you are. We may be able to arrange shipping to you, and it also helps us see where Nearwild should spread its wings next.
For now, the trail leads across the USA.
Will I get a tracking number for my order?
Yes. Once your order leaves the printer, we'll email you a tracking number so you can follow its trail all the way to your door.
Because everything is made to order, there's a short production window first. You'll hear from us the moment it's on the move.
What are your products made from?
Our tees are Comfort Colors 1717s, made from 100% ring-spun US cotton. No polyester blends, no synthetic fibres woven through the fabric. Just cotton.
They’re a heavyweight 6.1 oz (207 gsm) tee with a relaxed unisex fit, made from soft, pre-shrunk cotton and garment-dyed after construction. That process gives each colour its slightly washed, lived-in character, so no two batches are quite identical. A little variation feels right to us. Nature has never been particularly interested in uniformity either.
We chose Comfort Colors partly because the fabric fits the way we think about Nearwild: natural fibres, made to last, and fewer unnecessary synthetics. Comfort Colors is a member of the U.S. Cotton Trust Protocol and Better Cotton, programs supporting more sustainable and responsible cotton farming. The 1717 is also OEKO-TEX certified, meaning it has been tested for harmful substances.
Its clean pigment-dye colours also use 50% less water than traditional pigment-dye processes.
The blank tees are made in Honduras using US-grown cotton, then your Nearwild design is printed to order in the USA by our production partners.
Natural fibres. Built for repeat wear. Better suited to wandering outside.
